Who We Are

Literary Leftovers Bookstore is a cultural and community touchstone in Battle Ground, WA., and we are its most recent stewards.

We sell used books: the popular, the weird, the random. We sell some new books on a rotating basis. Check in the shop to see what we have currently.

The shop was opened in 2001 by Jewel Foederer, and in the last 24 years, it has changed hands five times. Most recently in October 2021, Kelsey Simons passed the shop over to Heather Erwin.

Our team currently comprises Heather, our fearless proprietress; Corrie Albertson, our children’s program manager; Eily McIlvain, house writer and bookseller; and of course, that cat you’ve all seen, Miss Lucy.
