If you’re a local author, we want to hear from you.
Each year, we put on 3 Local Author Panels, which are free and open to the community. We feature authors in every genre and stage of their careers (as long as you have at least one book out, self- or traditionally published equally accepted).
Our author panels last for an hour and a half, and feature 5-6 authors per event. The evening starts out with a short introduction and reading from each author, and then there is time for authors to sell and sign their books, as well as talk to each other and the community.
All excerpts for the reading will be submitted to us in advance for approval. We try to keep these events family friendly, so if you are writing in a mature genre (horror, erotic romance, etc.) or covering mature topics, please choose a mild excerpt to read. We also ask that any strong and vulgar language is redacted.
To let us know you’re interested in participating in an event, email [email protected] with a short author bio, author photo, and links to your work (if you are not selling online, please send us a picture of your book and its synopsis).
